Main bike: Yamaha FJR1300 (07)

I live in the eastern panhandle of West Virginia and come from a family of motorcycle riders. My grandfather, aunts, uncles, dad, sister, girlfriend and 6 year old son all ride. I started riding when I was 5 years old and have been riding on the street since I was legally allowed. I even did some sportbike racing in CCS in my early 20’s. When I’m not riding, you can find me on stage performing magic and illusions.

Last year I started a blog ( as a way to document my motorcycle trips and share them with friends and family. It has since grown into a YouTube channel that focuses heavily on video of multiple-day trips to interesting places throughout the country. I also post how-to videos, other random motorcycle related videos and I may give this whole motovlog thing a try.

I Started riding in 2004. My full time gig is driving truck delivering auto parts on a local route,
I run my website and YouTube channel in my free time. I enjoy new adventures, traveling, being outdoors, camping, fishing, cigars, spending time with family and friends, meeting new people, experiencing new things new places and new foods, and of course the reason we're all here motorcycle touring.
When I was a kid we used to stay at a resort in the summer and on the way in a sign read "there are no strangers, only friends you haven't met yet" I'll never forget that and continue to live my life with that in mind. is about all of the above plus experiencing all that the Midwest has to offer from a motorcyclist perspective...
We highlight roads, state/national monuments and roadside attractions, great Restaurants, places to see, things to do, etc. as well as motorcycle events, rallies, and product reviews relating to motorcycling and the great outdoors.

Been riding since 2014. I'm a Texas license to carry instructor, Level 3 firearms instructor, gun dealer, gun enthusiast, singer/songwriter, and a a foodie. I generally vlog from San Antonio, TX, but my backyard is chocked full of fun roads, with views of the mountains, rolling hills, and beautiful scenery. My Motovlog combines two things I like to do - ride motorcycles and think! The focus of my vlog is in the general area of mindfulness, meditation and happiness. I am the Director of Training and Development for a medical management firm in San Antonio, Texas. I also teach Sales, Leadership and Management classes at Hallmark University here in San Antonio. I’m 73 years old. That’s another topic I discuss. Getting old is fun, but being old can really suck if you don’t know how to do it right. I ride a 2015 Yamaha FJR 1300. I retired my Harley after 90,000 miles and moved over, or up, to the Yamaha after a good friend of mine told me about riding his FJR all the way around the U.S. in 35 days by himself. I hope you will visit my Motovlog, leave comments and subscribe. I enjoy online dialogues.
