This morning I had to go down to a client in Madeira Beach, FL to shoot some product and portraits for a Cigar Snob ad I’m creating for the next issue. Cuban Paradise Cigars is the largest cigar shop down there along with being all in-house production plus a brand new bar next door called Mad Pub. They really went all out with over 50 beers available and a gorgeous setting to enjoy cigars and drinks. I was down there last week for this same thing, but he totally changed his mind about the direction of the ad, so we needed a 2nd shoot, getting his Cuban grandfather in on the fun to be a feature 🙂 Unfortunately I once again had huge tech difficulties revolving around this defective Sena GP10 unit. A replacement is on the way and it can’t come soon enough. It’s stopping recording randomly and even worse, dropping audio randomly. I’m luck that I got 1/2 of what I shot this time. I did two whole rides earlier this week that were unusable. If I wasn’t going down for the shoot I wouldn’t have even bothered trying to use this defective unit. So you get part of the video I had planned anyway! It cut out just before I got there and was totally flaky by the time I left. So, still testing, but every thing should keep improving until I find the right groove 🙂 Enjoy!
