This is part 1 of 2 where I compare two of the most popular higher end passive earplugs for motorcyclists. These are the SureFire EP7 Sonic Defender Ultra series. They have foam tips and 85dB filters to let lower threshold sounds through, exactly what’s useful for riding with a helmet to hear traffic, music, people etc. while still killing wind noise. Part two will be another set then I’ll have a conclusion vid talking about pros and cons of both. Neither are expensive though at $25 ea. shipped so you might just do what I did and order both.
