Welcome to part two of our Springtime ride. On this part we leave Hawes after a lovely lunch at the fabulous Penny Garth Café. We head over the Buttertubs Pass to Thwaite. From there we head over to Tan Hill and then onto Brough via some spectacular narrow twisty roads! From Brough we head for Middleton-In-Teesdale and then onto Alston in Cumbria. We stopped off at the Hartside Top cafe for a well earned warm drink and snack. Afterwards we head down the steep and twisty A686 to Melmerby. From this point onward the ride was mostly motorway riding and therefore very boring. The final scenes are of the M65 motorway in Blackburn, then home. We hope you have enjoyed our ride out.
