Welcome to the final part of our Newlands Valley circular tour. On this part we carry on at the summit of the valley (1,095 ft above sea level) and head down towards Buttermere. From Buttermere we head over Honister Pass going past the slate mine there and down through the Borrowdale valley to Keswick. We then head to Grasmere via the A591 passing the turning of St.John’s-In-The-Vale where we started our tour. We hope you enjoy our ride in the beautiful Lake District.
