Welcome to the final part of our Germany tour! Here we depart from the Ibis hotel in Utrecht Holland. Before heading back to Europort in Rotterdam, we spent some quality time visiting the Dutch town of Gouda, famous for it’s wheels of cheese. We enjoyed seeing all the lovely flowers and the canals. We then had some lunch then reluctantly headed back to the bike to make the journey to Rotterdam to board the Pride Of Rotterdam North Sea ferry. After a very relaxing evening aboard the ferry (that we thought was more luxurious than we’d expected before the holiday) we retired to our cabin and had a good nights sleep. The following morning we enjoyed a thoroughly good breakfast….as much as you could eat breakfast. We both had the Full English! Yummy!
Shortly afterwards we spotted England! After a very efficient disembarkation of the ferry, we went through Passport control and headed home along the M62.
We will never forget our first (and hopefully the first of many more) tour of Europe. It has certainly whetted our appetite for more trips in the future. Thank you for watching our tour and please, as always, I’d be delighted to receive your Thumbs Up and comments at FJR Biker Paul.
