I always wondered if it made a difference to fill my motorcycle with fuel on the sidestand vs the centerstand, since logically you would think there is an air pocket that would be better filled sitting upright. I just happened to think about it today when filling up so I did the experiment to see for myself! This is a Yamaha FJR1300, of course it may or may not apply to other models in a similar way.
