Welcome to our little ride from Keswick in the English Lake District to Ashness Bridge and beyond. Although we’d been to Ashness Bridge on one occasion in May 2006, we hadn’t been further along the tiny road beyond. I’d checked it out on Google Maps to make sure it was in a decent condition and suitable for a motorcycle. I was and therefore we just had to explore! Halfway along this road, we came across an aptly named ‘Surprise View’ of Derwent Water, Borrowdale Valley and Bassenthwaite in the distance! We couldn’t believe that a view like this existed! It just proves that if you go exploring these tiny little roads, you can come across real treasures like this. We hope you enjoy/have enjoyed our ride. Thanks for watching. FJR Biker Paul.
