Anniversary Ride

Welcome to our 28th Wedding Anniversary ride….where else? The Lake District of course! On this part we start on the A592 Patterdale Road not far from Troutbeck. We had been told the night before about a tiny lane in the valley leading to the Kirkstone Pass called Ing Lane. Although the lane lead us to a farm gate, the ride down the valley was certainly worth it. After taking in the scenery, we headed back along this lane back to the A592. We then carry on along the Kirkstone Pass passing Brothers Water, Patterdale and then onto Glenridding at the foot of Helvelyn. We have lunch (egg, chips and peas/beans and a slice of bread with pot of tea and hot chocolate) at Fellbites cafe/restaurant. The ride continues on part two. Thanks for watching! FJR Biker Paul.
