January Grasmere Ride & Beyond!

Welcome to our ride to Grasmere & Beyond! On this part we leave home and head for Cumbria. The forecast was fairly good with 8-10 degrees C expected and mostly dry. However, we found the rain! When we were nearing Windermere the light rain started and didn’t really clear. We enjoyed a bacon butty in Croft House Bakery. Grasmere like so many beautiful villages in the Lake District is recovering from devastating flooding after the Boxing Day rains. They deserve all the help and support from this Government!!
