Looping The Cherohala Skyway Smoky Mountain Motorcycle Adventure Part 10 – By this time we had seen a few crashes here and there along the way – bikes and cars. The poor guy in the thumbnail put his bike about 10′ up in the trees smack dab in the middle of the Cherohala. We talked to a guy that he had just passed, while had lunch – he said he was FLYING. Obviously he missed the turn. It’s at least an hour wait to get to any hospital from there unless you fly. Other than that the day was great with a PERFECT road as they have just finished repaving the entire NC section of the Cherohala Skyway, and the TN side is still a 9.5/10! We had a great lunch in Tellico Plains turned around and did it again!
