This is not a step by step how to but I do show you what I had to do and the parts I used. You need to disassemble the adapter and sand down the end of the PCB to JUST touch the resistor, to make room for it in the case. I suggest only using the left and ground pins to solder on new wires. Make sure they do not extend past the end of the PCB. I suggest epoxy to secure everything for durability. I’m sure other mics would work as well, I stopped when I found one good enough. Exact placement in your particular helmet WILL require experimentation for best levels and wind protection.
